# Troubleshooting Amazon ECS Applications

## Thursday, April 27, 2023, 3:00PM PST 

In this follow-along workshop, you will learn how to add observability to a containerized application running with Amazon ECS and troubleshoot problems such as intermittent failure, slow draining queues and bad health checks.

AWS Senior Solutions Architect, Marina Novikova, along with Lumigo Developer Advocate, DeveloperSteve Coochin (yes, that's his real name!) will lead the workshop and will be available for a live Q&A throughout.

**Some of the activities we will do in the workshop include:**

- Creating and deploying a demo application with AWS ECS
- Learning how to implement distributed tracing 
- Troubleshooting common errors in containerized apps 
- Creating actionable alerts 
- Using execution tags to easily search through troubleshooting data

**Pre-requisites for this workshop:**

- Docker installed
- AWS Account
- AWS CLI (authenticated)
